Kevin O’Rourke to receive Kerouac Award

Kevin O’Rourke will receive the KPV Kerouac Award from the Peace Maker Foundation on March 10.

Critical acclaim for Brent Holt’s “Disappearaphernalia 2” appeared in Adirondack Review.

Kori’s Hennessy’s short story, “Sugar”, will appear in the March issue of Halfway Down The Stairs.

Cynthia J. Long has published another work of literary fiction, this time in Women in REDzine, a multicultural literature and art magazine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Workshop member Anne Brown recently concluded a two book deal with Random House to publish her Young Adult fiction novels.

Barb Grengs’ third book in the Toby Martin, Pet Detective series is now out. She will conduct a signing at Barnes and Noble (HarMar mall) on Feb. 19th at 2:00 pm.

So many people attended the book launch of Bernice Johnson’s The Shan: Refugees without a Camp that people had to be turned away. A follow-up launch is planned for Thursday night, February 3.

Amphibi.us has published Brent Holt’s brilliant and delicate short story “Disappearaphernalia 1″

Cantaraville, an international PDF literary quarterly, will publish Cynthia Long’s short story, “Shadows of Hope” in its January 2011 issue.
